AUSFLÜGE: BERLIN

15.12.11

OUR TRIP TO BERLIN

On Tuesday, 22nd of November 2011 we went to Berlin because we wanted to visit the German parliament. We met at 7:10 am and took the train to Berlin. It was a very long way but it ended after a long time. After we had arrived at the central station we went to a Jewish monument. On our way we saw the Brandenburg Gate, very impressive.
Now it was time for the parliament. There was security like at an airport. Inside it was very interesting and boring at the same time, but I’d say you have to see a political discussion once in your life. After the politicians had found no way to make our country rich we had a meeting with one of them to ask a few things. This was very interesting, too, but sometimes I don’t think politicians live in reality because they say a few billions euros aren’t much.
Then we visited the dome at the top of the parliament building. I really love this view because it is so high and everywhere is just a big city which we had a look at after that. At 5:10 pm we met at the central station and travelled back to Lüneburg. This was a very nice trip because I love our capital and like to be there.
